TENDENCIES OF FORMATION OF STRATEGIC ALTERNATIVES SMALL AND MEDIUM BUSINESS IN UKRAINE

Abstract

Annotation. The development of small and medium enterprises is one of the priorities of Ukraine's economy from the global economic crisis. Accelerating changes in the environment, new business opportunities, new requirements and transformation standpoint of the consumer, the state information network, increase the availability of modern technology and other reasons led to increased importance of business development strategy. The article stipulates that the performance of small and medium business is largely dependent on the economic environment of their operation. The article aims to study the characteristics of the formation of alternative strategies for the development of small and medium businesses determining the heterogeneity of small and medium business in Ukraine and alternative strategies of development. Established that the instability of the environment and the need to adapt to the conditions of its capacity to achieve their own goals requires small and medium businesses use an effective development strategy. In the end, the research appropriate to note that the complexity, instability of the environment and the need to adapt to the conditions of its capacity to achieve their own goals requires small and medium businesses use effective strategy. Thus the strategy development process, exactly as it used to methodological tools are actually the same for small business entities and for krupn6oho business. Specificity is used strategies related to the fact that SMEs tend to operate in narrow market niches, while a set of possible strategies comes down to focusing, maintaining competitive advantage, increasing efforts or elimination and reorientation to other market niches. The conclusion about the necessity of forming strategic alternatives of development of small and medium business in Ukraine.
