DIRECTIONS FOR IMPROVING THE ORGANIZATION OF THE ENTERPRISE’S ACTIVITIES BASED ON THE TOOLS OF THE LOGISTICS MECHANISM

Abstract

The article substantiates the fundamental provisions for establishing the organization of an enterprise’s activities, outlining the strategic directions for its improvement through the use of logistics mechanisms. It emphasizes that current market challenges underscore an urgent need to enhance the management mechanisms of enterprises, where the organization of commodity logistics flows determines their competitive ability and ensures a sufficient level of economic security. The functional interrelationships between the basic business management functions are defined, oriented towards the conceptual provisions of logistics. As part of this approach, improving the organization of the enterprise’s activities is presented as an economic model that includes several elements, which are tools of logistics management with specific focuses. Target guidelines for enhancing the organization of the company’s activities, considering the peculiarities of logistics management, have been developed. The methodological and applied approaches to managing entrepreneurial activities based on the principles of logistics are summarized. These approaches include situational analysis, marketing synthesis, inventory management, and the organization of material and technical supply. The leading tools for improving the organization of the company’s activities, based on the expanded application of information and communication technologies in the logistics management system, have been identified. It is concluded that the use of systems for optimizing logistics operations at enterprises based on information technologies allows for the reduction of production costs, overall expenses for logistics activities, increased profitability, and more. The elements of improving the organization of the company’s activities, which take into account the specifics of logistics, have been formed.
