Personnel motivation is a key determinant of enterprise management efficiency, labor productivity, employee engagement, and strategic goal attainment. Under modern economic conditions, enterprises face escalating challenges associated with staff turnover, declining worker motivation, and the need to upgrade human resource management practices. Consequently, developing an effective motivation system that balances material and non-material incentives has become an essential prerequisite for ensuring sustainable organizational development and competitiveness.
The purpose of this article is to identify directions for improving an enterprise’s personnel motivation system based on an empirical analysis of motivational practices at Nova Poshta LLC and to substantiate practical recommendations for enhancing overall human resource management efficiency.
The article examines theoretical approaches to comprehensive motivation systems, highlighting the synergy between financial incentives, professional development, career growth, corporate culture, and employee recognition. Drawing on a survey conducted among employees of Nova Poshta LLC, the current motivation framework is evaluated. The findings reveal critical weaknesses, including insufficient transparency in performance-based rewards, limited advancement opportunities, and the need to reinforce non-material incentives alongside internal communication.
Based on these findings, an applied framework termed the «Employee Development Motivation Card» is proposed. This system integrates key performance indicators (KPIs), individualized professional development plans, motivational points, recognition mechanisms, and digital performance-monitoring tools. Implementing this approach strengthens the alignment between performance and compensation, enhances employee engagement and loyalty, supports continuous professional advancement, and elevates the efficiency of enterprise personnel management.
