Apologia of the style: “Executed Renaissance” of Yurii Lavrinenko

The article is dedicated to the analyzing of compiling strategy, which was used by Yurii
Lawrynenko in the anthology “Executed Renaissance”. This edition has asserted a new literary
style in Ukrainian literature of 1920–1930’s, and also has become one of the most important
cultural phenomenon in a process of creation of a Ukrainian identity on exile. The further
developing of this idea is considered on the basis of archival materials.
