PROSPECTS FOR IMPROVING LOGISTICS BUSINESS PROCESSES

Abstract

The article pointed out that the development of logistics business-processes is performed on demand directly of the logistics services market and markets of technological and information support, which are the basis of satisfaction of the relevant issues on a completely different level. The analysis of the size of the global logistics market, which is characterized by the growth of potential volumes. The results of the analysis of the logistics performance index in Ukraine indicate that the best results in the field of logistics performance was in 2014, but in 2016 they have deteriorated significantly. The article identifies main problems of logistics activities of enterprises: customs, infrastructure, ease of arranging shipments, quality of logistics services. It is proved that the prospect of improving logistics business processes through automation of logistics processes through the application of logistic robots that will contribute to a significant improvement in the level of satisfaction of potential consumers and reduce financial and time costs. Areas of automating end-to-end logistics processes are: complex application of the leading innovative technical and technological support during the whole life cycle of the enterprise and the possibility of updates in case of need; definition of key performance indicators of logistics business processes of an enterprise and monitoring on one panel; identification of the causes and consequences of possible deviations of the characteristics of logistics business processes of an enterprise, the possibility of adjusting operations; maximum use of ready integration solutions; the creation, provision, operation and visualization of the logistic business processes of the enterprise.
