This article examines the priority areas of risk management within the commercial activities of a logistics enterprise, specifically Nova Poshta LLC, under the contemporary conditions of the Ukrainian economy. The research utilizes theoretical generalization, systemic analysis, and the SWOT method for qualitative risk assessment. The study identifies that key factors impacting the company in 2024 include infrastructural damage, energy instability, and human capital shortages caused by mobilization and migration, alongside rising logistical costs.
The analysis demonstrates a high level of institutional adaptability in ensuring operational continuity and physical security. Effective measures such as the diversification of logistics routes, the deployment of autonomous branches equipped with generators, and the strengthening of cyber defense have allowed the company to maintain its market leadership. However, it was found that while automation and digitalization are effective, they only partially mitigate labor shortages, necessitating improved financial response tools.
The findings prove that under high uncertainty, traditional forecasting loses relevance, requiring a transformation from a reactive risk management model to a comprehensive, systematic approach. The study identifies key improvement areas, including the establishment of risk management centers, the development of robust personnel retention strategies, the reinforcement of corporate culture, and the implementation of advanced digital tools. Ultimately, this systematic approach ensures long-term resilience and operational stability for logistics enterprises operating in volatile environments.
