INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN PROVIDING SECURITY OF UKRAINE’S CUSTOMS SPACE

Abstract

The article deals with the the state of foreign trade activity and its subjects. The author substantiates the importance of the information component in terms of risks management and security of Ukraine’s customs space. The main innovations in customs informatization progress which influence the risk management system are described. The role of software and information systems in the processes of customs control and customs clearance for ensuring the security of the customs space is argued. The main advantages and disadvantages of risk management system automation  in Ukraine are substantiated.
