DIRECTIONS FOR INCREASING COMPETITIVENESS OF UKRAINIAN HYDROCARBON SECTOR

Abstract

The article deals with the directions for increasing the competitiveness of the Ukrainian hydrocarbon sector. In particular, the current state of technical support of the industry is analyzed. It is emphasized that the tender and procurement policy pursued by »Ukrgasvydobuvannya» creates unequal conditions for domestic and foreign manufacturers of machinery and equipment for the gas industry. As a result of this policy, the dependence of the industry on imported machinery and equipment increases, which leads to a decrease in its competitiveness.
It is stated that in the Ukrainian market of hydrocarbon production services there is an opportunity to expand the development and sales of domestic engineering products, the provision of services of service companies.
