Abstract

This article examines current issues in developing information and analytical support for assessing the agricultural potential of territorial communities amidst decentralization, European integration, and wartime challenges. The introduction substantiates the importance of local statistics as a vital tool for evidence-based managerial decision-making at the municipal level. Efficient data management is presented as a prerequisite for regional economic resilience and effective resource allocation in a changing geopolitical landscape.
The purpose of the study is to substantiate a comprehensive system of indicators for assessing the potential and development of agrarian business in territorial communities as a core component of an automated information and analytical system of local statistics. To achieve this, the study addresses the analysis of community needs for statistical data, the formation of a robust set of analytical indicators, and the identification of reliable data sources. The methodological framework is based on an analysis of survey results from Ukrainian territorial communities, a generalization of regulatory and legal acts, and the systematization of administrative and statistical data sources.
As a result of the research, a set of key indicators of agricultural potential at the community level is proposed. The study identifies the possibilities of utilizing the Unified State Register, the State Agrarian Register, the State Land Cadastre, and household accounting records. The feasibility of integrating these data within digital local statistics platforms is substantiated. The research emphasizes that implementing a local agricultural statistics system will enhance the managerial capacity of communities, ensure strategic planning, and support the implementation of sustainable development principles.
