Abstract

This article analyzes and proposes a comprehensive framework for building and automating flexible production systems in accordance with the Industry 5.0 paradigm. This approach integrates modern information technologies, artificial intelligence, and hardware connections within the Internet of Things (IoT) environment, while positioning human capital, personnel knowledge, and strategic management at the core of the system. The proposed framework comprises eight logically interconnected main blocks–product types, raw materials, manufacturing methods, facility locations, personnel, warehousing, sales channels, and financial returns–reflecting complex real-world processes of modern industrial construction.
The maximum efficiency of this automation framework is observed when aligning technological and business layers. Technologically, this is achieved through the deep integration of equipment, sensors, scanners, and barcode printers utilizing API protocols. At the business level, it entails modeling and automating organizational business processes in BPMN 2.0 notation via specialized enterprise software, including ERP, CRM, or MES systems. Furthermore, incorporating bottleneck identification allows managers to plan automated systems to achieve a rapid economic effect and accelerate return on investment (ROI).
The framework was empirically tested by the author across various manufacturing enterprises producing pipes, furniture, cosmetics, flooring, doors, and industrial equipment. The Creatio platform served as the foundational NoCode software architecture, providing enterprises with all necessary tools for process modeling in BPMN 2.0 notation.
