References must be in-text citations, printed in square brackets. The first number is the serial number of the source, monograph or article in the list of references and literature. This is followed, after a comma, by the page number or the serial number of the sheet. For example: [4, p. 238], which means: item number 4 of the academic work cited in the list of sources and literature, page 238; [8, sheet 6v], which means: item number 8 of the archival source cited in the list of sources and literature. The ‘References’ section follows the list of sources and literature. You can automate the transliteration process by using the Online Transliteration website at http://ukrlit.org/transliteratsiia. For the transliteration of Russian text, we recommend the system at https://translit.net/ru/bgn/ (BGN).
