BORDERLANDS AS A TEXT: A RETROSPECTION OF CONTEMPORARY FICTION

Abstract

The discourse of borderlands in the novels by Ukrainian wtiters Vasyl Makhno (Eternal Calendar) and Sofiia Andrykhovych (Amadoka) have been considered in the article. Both novels reveal national peculiarities of visions of the past of the so-called “no one’s land”, which has been recently actualized in contemporary fiction.
