Abstract

The article analyses the peculiarities of the teaching of informative speech genres of the Ukrainian language in the foreign language audience. There are revealed the linguistic means of realization of such information speech genre as the message, agreement/disagreement, explanation. It is established that the speech genre is the category that combines social and linguistic reality. Knowledge about the form of the whole statement, namely, about a certain speech genre, directs the speaker in the process of his speech – determines the types of sentences
and their compositional connections. Informative speech acts can be represented using the following models: I inform X about something; I
answer question X; I agree/disagree with the statement of X. The linguistic content of these speech genre allows to actively study the grammar and vocabulary of the Ukrainian language. The material for analysis is the manual on the Ukrainian language as a foreign «Step-2».
