Abstract

This article is devoted to the orthological texts’ features of mass media. Media can form a public opinion, determine spiritual values, produce certain linguistic skills in the audience in particular but only if the various linguistic means are properly used. Orthology is the science’s section of the language’s culture. The linguistic and stylistic errors which were founded in the messages posted in the moving lines of the TV program «Breakfast with 1+1» during July 11–22,
2017, became the subject of the scientifi c research.
It has been determined that journalists most often make mistakes related to the inverted construction of sentences, the functioning of the wrong verbal forms, availability of words, phraseologisms and lexical expressions copied mainly from the Russian language, the non-observance of the rules concerning the valence of linguistic units, the incorrect construction of homogeneous rows, the violation of punctuation norms when designing someone else speech. There are a little number of spelling errors and erratum. We believe that the authors of the moving lines must have a perfect speech culture in order to effectively infl uence the mind, desire and feelings of other people, because it is an expressive indicator of language competence and journalist’s skills.
