Abstract

The article deals with the issue of nominative space inner structure, the relations between its constituents and the ways of the broadening of nominative space. The notions of cognitive and language worldviews gains particular importance since the first offers the grounding for the second and the second forms an access to the first. Space of nomination is awarded the special attention owing to its reference to language worldview and its binding to a specific notion. Nominative space of a notion is inspected in terms of paradigmatic organization of its content. The latter is defined through the relations between its constituents as synonyms, antonyms, meronyms. Also the notion of «generic specific type» is applied for description of the nominative units. Apart from inner structure and relations’ establishment the extra space opportunities of nominative units are studies through notions of interdiscoursivity and interdiscursive realization. Both issues are used for expending the borders of nominative space within the language worldview and at the same time for underlining the dynamic character of nominative space in particular and language worldview in general. The complex analysis offered by the paper highlights the possibility for language worldview to keep in pace with cognitive worldview, through processes of nomination and nominative techniques’ utilization.
