The article deals with the notion of frame analysis in conceptology, its role for the disclosure of the mechanisms of conceptualization, the visualization of the internal hierarchy in the conceptual fields, the construction of frame concept models and the correlation of the conceptual and linguistic structures. In modern linguistic research, the notion of conceptual analysis is understood as an analysis of the verbalized concepts aimed at identifying conceptual features with the help of the values of units that represent this concept. On the basis of the analysis of the lexeme beauty as the most generalized nomination of beauty, conceptualized by English-speaking community, and related to it synonymous nominative units, a frame model of the concept beauty that reflects its structure, as well as the mechanisms and principles of functioning in the language and the mental space of contemporary English, was reconstructed. In terms of frame analysis, the concept beauty is structured as eight first-level subframes. By analyzing them using the English thesaurus as a source of systematized and organized information, we work out a network of the second level subframes and the slots that they fill. The results of the research may serve as a basis for investigating other conceptual units in terms of frame analysis.
