Future tourism industry needs educational establishments that provide hospitality management courses and language training. Communication skills are an important element of tourism industry. The key challenge for tourism education is not to stay with narrow vocationalism simply to satisfy the employments needs of industry but to harness the development of the knowledge that will provide a contribution to the successful development of tourism and industry as a whole. Good oral and written communication skills are the top skills important to tourism practitioners at different levels. Good English communication during the study will add value to students’ education. In this article the main attention is paid to the communicative aspects of foreign language training of specialists in the field of tourism as a prerequisite for their professional development. The students’ motivation to learn English and some other difficulties in developing the necessary language skills were identified. Expansion and updating of the education range requires the creation of technologies for the professional specialists training of tourism industry, aimed at raising the level of skills, professional competence, and competitiveness in line with the growing conditions in the labor markets. Therefore, professional training of future specialists in tourism, which can fully meet the high professional orientations of the 21st century, is a complex and responsible task.
The solution of this problem requires the search of forms, means, professional foreign language training methods for students and the model creation of foreign language teaching, which eliminates the above contradictions and will allow to ensure a high quality language training level of future specialists in the field of tourism.
