The article is devoted to the analysis of the usage of Wizer.me interactive worksheets for the development of communicative competence of upper-intermediate higher education students. Formation and development of communicative competence or the ability to communicate in a foreign language, in particular English, has become almost one of the main skills of the 21st century. Regardless of the teaching method and strategy, the development of communicative competence should be based on the use of authentic material that enables students to react, comment and answer questions according to a situation that is as close to reality as it is possible. And it is the use of Wizer.me interactive sheets that allows one to create an authentic situation or environment, which is interactive, that is, it teaches students not only to communicate but also to think critically and solve problems.
