SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL PROGRESS IN EDUCATION (FROM THE EXPERIENCE OF TEACHING GERMAN LANGUAGE AT A UNIVERSITY)

Abstract

This article discusses the use of scientific and technological advances, the latest technologies in teaching, in particular, in teaching a foreign language at a university (from the experience of teaching German). It is noted that discoveries in the field of science and technology affect all spheres of human activity, including education. The authors of the article report that the current conditions dictate new requirements for education, which in turn cause transformations in the sphere of education in general, and in the process of teaching foreign languages in higher education in particular. The article shows that innovations are being introduced into all spheres of modern life, including teaching foreign languages at a university, as one of the most relevant areas of pedagogical training of highly qualified, competitive specialists of various profiles. It is reported that the connection between education and innovation is more relevant today than ever, and this is evident primarily from the introduction of new technologies in the process of teaching foreign languages. The article discusses the features of using the latest technologies in teaching a foreign language (from the experience of teaching German) at a university, the means, methods and techniques of teaching a foreign language that will be the most effective, fruitful and productive for students when learning a foreign language, taking into account the changes in the modern world that occur as a result of scientific and technological progress. It is explained that the use of modern technologies allows us to improve and speed up the process of learning a language much more effectively, which is a rather important component of the process of training future specialists. The article notes that new trends in the development of the Internet open up unprecedented opportunities for instant access to ever-expanding knowledge resources.
