Abstract

The theoretical approaches to the defi nition of the content and characteristics of metacognitive monitoring of educational activity of student have been discussed in the articles. The main types of metacognitive strategies in educational activity have been characterized. The theoretical analysis of methodological foundations of diagnosis of metacognitive activities of students in psychological science has been executed.
