Abstract

The article has been devoted to one of the most critical issues of the modern psychological science – development of pedagogical skills. The described program is a response to the lack of effective models of development of pedagogical skills. Besides the presentation of the program, the article also has described the integration of the existing models of professional development into one program, which encouraged positive changes among lecturers and teachers. It has been emphasized that awareness of the own mission in relation to pedagogical activity is critical in the development of pedagogical skills. The program included reflexive discussions, informational sessions and seminars aimed at updating and elaborating various content aspects of pedagogical activity, pedagogical thinking and self-awareness of the pedagogues.
