METHODS OF EQUIVALENT TRANSLATION OF LEXICAL UNITS OF TEXTS OF CONVENTIONS FROM ENGLISH AND FRENCH LANGUAGES UKRAINIAN

Abstract

Article deals with the ways of equivalent translation of lexical units of the texts of conventions from English and French into Ukrainian that is stipulated by the presence or absence of translation equivalents in the Target Language. The depicted ways of translation: finding correspondences, transcoding, calque tranlsation, contextual replacement, descriptive translation, formal negativization.
