Abstract

The present paper is devoted to the analysis of the multiplicity phenomenonof common words, generally in Polish and Ukrainian. The author of the present paperanalysessuch issues as the process of selecting the appropriate meaning in multiple meaning word,the role of context in choosing the appropriate meaning of a word, the reasons of multiple meaning words’ occurrence, etc.
