Abstract

The article is devoted to the studying of the influence of lexical and grammatical means on intonational variability of positiveand negative eveluative statements. The author distinguishes evaluative lexicon, demonstrates its role by rendering of evaluative statements and establishes the basic means of prosodic organization of English dialogical radio discourse.
