Abstract

The article deals with structural and linguostylistic peculiarities of the story “A Christmas Carol” by Ch. Dckens. The attention is payed to the stylistic functioning of descriptive discourses; the opposiotion of good & evil is concidered conceptual in the story. Genre traditions of Christmas stories attached upon. The analytical reading of the story is reccomended for English learners.
