Abstract

The article explores the word-building potential of stems of derivative nouns of German and Ukrainian languages, which was built by means of Latin suffixes with the lexical-categorical meaning of person. In the process of analysis the parameters, which characterize the analyzed stems, are picked out and the common and different features of the stems are retraced in the analyzed languages.
