Abstract

This article analyses the poetry by Volodymyr Kobyljansky from the point of view of the reception of antique motives and images. It is noted that in the poet’s lyrics was elaborated the complex of motives that is connected with aesthetic and philosophical ideas of the orphism and that is one of the manifestation of the “Parnassus style” of the symbolist poet.
