Abstract

The article analyzes typological peculiarities of the formation of the protagonists’ images of the contemporary initiation novels in Ukrainian, Polish and American literatures. Similarities and differences in plot and fable, image system in literary texts by Lyubko Deresh, Miroslaw Nahacz and Nick MacDonell are revealed. Authors’ transformations of plot and image material of fairy tale in young writers’ texts are covered.
