Abstract

Comparative research of Yuriy Tarnawsky’s poetry in context of American avant-garde phenomenon of 1950-60-es is propounded in article. Author examines a problem of foreign environment and it’s part in artist ideology creation, explores nature of verse language and innovation in Yuriy Tarnawsky’s writings, mating it with the works of Beat Generation, Black Mountain and other.
