Abstract

The article deals with methodical interpretation of the state of postmodernist character’s solitude within the framework of cognitive science. The research rests on G. Lakoff and M. Johnson’s conceptual metaphor theory and iconism theory using methods of contextual-situational, interpretational, semantic analyses.
