Abstract

In this article the role of absurd in drama of W. Shakespeare was determined. The principles of using the category of absurd in the texts of W. Shakespeare were described. These principles are: the principle of absurd coincidence, the principle of underlining of absurdity concealed character of reasonable and investigating connections. It was characterized the peculiarities of using by W. Shakespeare absurd plot, denouement with absurdity moved center, absurdity comic situations and absurdity comic characters, etc.
