PASTICHE AS A REFERENCE TO HYPERRESEPIVITY OF POST MODERNISM LITERATURE

Abstract

The article dwells on the pastiche phenomenon in the context of the postmodernism epoch. The history of the notion is reviewed; the distinguishing features and functions of pastiche as the leading means of postmodern text formation are defined. The research allows to trace the correlation between the notion in question and other artistic means of heterogeneous text formation.
