Abstract

The article deals with the problem of Russian discourse in the works of Polish-born classic of English literature Joseph Conrad. Despite the rejection of the “Russian” context in the art worlds of Russian writers, Conrad was in the orbit of the effects of their works. It has greatly contributed of the introduction of “Slavic psychology” into English literature, which led to the relevance of the works by Conrad in the modern world.
