Abstract

We consider the trilogy of Stanislav Vincenz “on the high mountain valley” among Polish works with Guzul topics in this paper. The work of Stanislav Vincenz is a monumental work about culture of the Carpathians’ inhabitants, their customs, beliefs and way of life. In particular, we focus our attention on how Vincenz represented in his work the Guzul’s world, to which he paid great attention and what main idea he would convey to the readers.
