Abstract

The method of interviewing, applied by students-philologists in the multicultural environment of Ivano-Frankivsk while studying Polish language is analysed in the article. Polish language profi ciency is the main indicator in the selection of respondents for research of foreign communicative culture. Realization of «dialogue» of cultures under the general theme «My language biography» allowed the sudents not only to become acquainted with traditions, to «meet» the dialect of Polish language, but also assisted to the forming of tolerant attitude to ward the concept of binary opposition «Own» – «Strange». Such experience allowed the students to understand the necessity of study the dynamics of adaptation of the person to the certain language. The Implementation of interviewing method allowed to distinguish three age-related groups of respondents (till 25 years old, till 70 years old and 70+) for there searching the problem of forming foreign communicative culture. Interviewing of respondents of the third age-related group a 70+ is most actual for forming of foreign communicative culture for the Polish language students in the multicultural environment of city of Ivano-Frankivsk. Interviewing method allows to form communicative competenses for the students of junior courses.
