THE NOVEL OF D. GRANIN «MY LIEUTENANT» IN THE CONTEXT OF THE EVOLUTION OF MILITARY PROSE

In this article, on the example of the novel of D. Granin «My Lieutenant» identifi ed the characteristic traits of the new but a natural in the works of writers-veterans of the evolutionary stage, which is a natural process of the development of military prose in the modern information space and is accompanied by changes in the forms and ways of mastering the art space. Despite the many complex scientifi c works, comprehensively addressing the theme of the great Patriotic war in literature the acute socio-cultural contradictions have arisen the necessity of developing new lighting concepts studied literary events and processes in the modern information space based on the experience of historical development. The uniqueness of the novel lies in the special form of artistic narrative. Switching from one person to another allows the writer to be protected from excessive unbearable emotions and to answer many questions from the point of view of the individual who could make different choices in life, differently to cope with these situations. The contrast used by the author, between an experienced person who has lived a long life, and impulsive young Lieutenant D. allows you to clear space from the glorifi cation and pathos, as well as to rethink the events from the perspective of the continuity of tradition and the literary-historical actuality.
