Abstract

The article analyzes the main criteria for joining the EU, the necessity of speaking English to promote European integration of Ukraine, and also the necessity of forming communicative skills in the study of Business English in future agricultural economists for successful access of Ukraine to the EU. Here are given methods of teaching foreign languages, that are used and maximum close to authentic professional situations. Namely it is the interdisciplinary approach, such as studying of vocabulary and grammar under properly chosen material that is partially related to the economy and agriculture. One of these methods is teaching to read and discuss original texts, write essays and annotations of professional literature, read articles, notes of newspapers and magazines of foreign mass media. It also revealed the need for the future students to be able to make modeling of reports, presentations and business negotiation, conclusion and discussion contracts, resolving pressing business issues with a partner on the phone that is also an integral part of the communication aspect, while using appropriate terminology and lexical business style. It is also noted that the present study should learn how to present own company, firm, hold press conferences.
