ON ISSUE OF THE ANALYSIS OF SYMBOLIC MEANINGS OF THE BIBLICAL ONYMS IN UKRAINIAN LIN - GUOCULTURE

The processes of symbolization of main Biblical onyms in Ukrainian linguoculture are analyzed in the article; the typical semantic mechanisms of symbol-making as a special type of nomination of spiritual and cultural realities are found out; the author interpreted the concept Biblical symboleme as a linguocultural unity and outlined the image-associative potential of explicit and implicit verbalizators in realization of basic concepts of the sacred sphere. It was found that the precedent biblical names are dominants of accumulation and transmission of spiritual values, and lexicographical sources are not always contained the information about the symbolic meaning of the word, so it can often be brightened out with the help of the background knowledge of bearer`s culture. Biblionyms mark context and implies emotional and evaluative aspects of being. Operating of such precedents causes decoding, objectification, materialization of a certain Old Testament or New Testament phenomenon. Biblical symboleme brings out the deeper meaning which is often not identical with the nominative meaning, and such unit assigns the word associations that form the symbolical complex. They as special signs at the intersection of language and cultural realia correlate with cultural continuum, religious and language worldview. The author proved that symbolemes are characterized with the following features: complicated meaning, inexplicitly delineated significatum, multidirectional connotatum.
