HYBRID INSTRUCTION AS AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO LANGUAGE TEACHING AND LEARNING AT UNIVERSITY

The article considers suitability, typologies and constituents of the innovative hybrid instruction, which combines components of classroom and distance learning. Three programs of hybrid instruction in French are being analyzed, with the author participating as a student, a methodologist and a developer. This is the program of the course «Information and communication technologies in teaching languages» of the University of Lyon Lumière Lyon-2 Magistracy; a cooperative program for French teachers professionalization PRO-FLE by the Embassy of France in Ukraine and the Ministry of Education of Ukraine; a mini-program of hybrid training developed by the author for students of the Foreign Languages Department of Karazin Kharkiv University for the 2nd term in 2015-2016 academic year
