Abstract

The article deals with speech genres, which perform as the main agitational function, but they have a rather large volume, more than one utterance. Attention was paid to the oral and written forms of the implementation of the actual propaganda texts, in particular political leaflets. It is proved that the political leaflet, being the main form of representation of strictly agitational syncretic speech genres, implements mechanisms of influence both at the structural and linguistic level.
It is determined that the main linguistic index of agitationality in leaflets is the syntactic constructions of the incentive type, the treatment and the imperative mood of the verbal components. It has also been proven that in its propaganda texts the intention is to motivate certain actions.
It is proved that the propaganda leaflets themselves have structural and semantic specifics. At the structural and compositional level, they consist of several components, such as address to the addressee, an appeal to certain actions and a conclusion.
