METHODOLOGICAL BASES OF THE LSP OF MILITARY RESEACH

Abstract

This article is devoted to the methodological bases of the LSP of military research (in English). The author has focused on the comprehensive studying of any LSP, researching the principles of their creation and structure, investigation of the systematic relationships of the terminological units which are of interest at this time. In the last few years there has been a growing interest in different LSPs: O. I. Duda (banking), M.A. Symonenko (medicine), A.P. Chudinov (economics), H.P. Datsyshyn (politics), O.A. Lytvynko (machine-building), and others. The development of the terminological vocabulary shows people’s cultural growth and cultural perspectives in the context of world society. The publication focuses on the main methods of the researching of terms and systems of terms; the principal approach to studying terms in the English LSP of military has been  determinated; the consistent patterns of the English LSP of military wordformation are analyzed. From the research that has been carried out, it is possible to conclude that the methodological bases of the studying terms gives the opportunity of the complex researching of terms in the English LSP of military, analyzing the principles of nomination and description of the structure of terms. In our future research we intend to concentrate on the terminological metaphors in the English LSP of military.
