The article examines the stylistic features of the novels by V.Yeshkilev and Y.Kononenko, written by order of the publishing house to promote the work of the famous Western Ukrainian sculptor Johann-Georg Pinsel. The peculiarity of the individual style of each writer led to the creation of works of different genres. Such as a biographical novel with elements of mysticism and a historical mystery detective story. The works are different in terms of plot and time, but equally interesting. The epigraphs are varied according to the subject matter of the works. The epigraphs are varied, but they reveal the further content of the novels. There are few archival finds of primary sources of the sculptor’s life and work. There are many hypotheses about his place of study, residence and previous experience. Different groups of comparisons (groups of appearance, character, behaviour, perception by the senses, negated in Yeshkiliev’s novel) are studied. Insertion constructions (expressions of confidence, uncertainty, sequence of thoughts, indication of the source of the message are described in Kononenko). The specifics of the use of inserted constructions (structurally, these are phrases, sentences and paragraphs) are determined. The peculiarity of both authors is polysyndeton (negative, separating and clarifying types). Various types of ellipses, such as occasional and verbal, are identified by V. Yeshkilev as a feature of colloquial syntax. As an expressive phenomenon of spoken language, as well as a feature of postmodern writing, parcellation is used for the purpose of intonational emphasis. Parcellation helps to actualise the circumstances, convey the psycho-emotional state, specify the basic part, and rhythmise the prose. Tautology, a stylistic figure that arises from the repetition of related words, is a unique feature of the novel The Escape of Master Pinsel.
