STRUCTURE AND TRANSLATION OF TERMS IN THE FIELD OF ALTERNATIVE FUELS INFRASTRUCTURE

For the successful implementation of the European Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy, additional measures are needed to facilitate the rapid development of infrastructure. Along with the important identification of unresolved technological issues, it is envisaged to adopt new standards, in particular for electric road systems, support for interoperable power supply infrastructure for general aviation and special-purpose aircraft, and the development of a database and management system for the efficient operation of electric mobility infrastructure.
Progress in the field of energy contributes to the development of units and elements of the terminology that denotes newly created or modernized phenomena in the field of alternative fuels and becomes the main means of acquiring new knowledge in this area. The process of integration of world economies in the energy field into a single global energy system leads to the emergence of new and modernized terms in the modern energy and alternative fuels infrastructure terminology in German and Ukrainian, which require comprehensive research and systematization not only in the philological aspect but also in the field of translation studies.
The article deals with the issues of translation of technical terms in the field of alternative fuels infrastructure. The article identifies and describes the structural types of single-word terms and multi-word terms-phrases, analyzes the productive ways of their translation into Ukrainian, identifies the most frequent translation transformations used in the translation of each type of term under study, as well as the degree of similarity of the translated equivalents to the original terms. The article systematizes translation models depending on the structural type of the term.
