Abstract

This article explores the effectiveness of integrating digital media tools into the German language learning process. The author examines the use of virtual platforms, multimedia resources, interactive exercises, online games, and other innovative methods to enhance the learning and development of language skills among university students. The article analyzes the positive aspects of the digital approach, such as enriching educational materials, stimulating interactivity, and increasing students’ interest in learning the German language. Digital formats and information and communication technologies have long become an integral part of our lives, influencing how we communicate in both professional and private spheres, search and process information, and learn and use foreign languages. The use of digital media is a crucial component of successful foreign language classes, making it a recent focal point in modern teaching methodologies. Addressing these changes and not falling behind is a challenge faced by schools and higher education institutions worldwide. What needs to be done to ensure that our children become knowledgeable users of social networks? How can we learn to critically assess the flow of digital information and utilize it for educational purposes? What competencies are necessary in the era of digitization? The author attempts to answer these questions in her article.
