DIDACTIC FUNCTIONS OF THE EDUCATIONAL COMPLEX NETZWERK NEU A 1 IN THE PROCESS OF LEARNING GERMAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

The article examines the didactic principles of the educational complex Netzwerk neu A 1 for the formation of linguistic and didactic competence of students studying linguistics at the Department of Applied Linguistics of the Lviv Polytechnic National University. Along with the traditional teaching tools included in the Netzwerk neu educational package, attention is focused on the electronic version of the textbook, its didactic functions in the process of learning German as a second foreign language are characterized. It is noted that the digital materials of the educational complex take into account the peculiarities of the pupil’s/student’s mental state, enable an individual learning trajectory, contribute to increasing interest, motivation and effectiveness of learning. The study presents the results of a survey of students regarding the expediency and effectiveness of using an electronic textbook in the process of learning German as another foreign language. In the conclusions of some, the Netzwerk neu educational complex is an effective educational tool in the conditions of face-to-face, distance and mixed learning, it contributes to the formation of general linguistic and socio-cultural competence of pupils/students, as well as the innovative culture of the teacher/student.
