ORGANIZATION OF THE COURSE "PRACTICE OF TRANSLATION (GERMAN LANGUAGE)" ON THE ELECTRONIC EDUCATIONAL PLATFORM MOODLE OF THE LVIV POLYTECHNIC NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

In the article is made from a methodological and didactic point of view for analyze organization of the course "Translation practice (German language) Part 1, Part 2" for training students of highter education at the Department of Applied Linquiguistics of the Lviv Polytechnic National University (direction 035 “Philology”.) It is emphasized that the task of the course is the formation of students' translation skills from German to Ukrainian and vice versa, a scientific understanding of the factors and factors that govern the functioning of linguistic means in various spheres of communication, the ability to translate texts of various genres, and to apply one's own translation experience in professional activities. Attention is focused on research methods, in particular, the method of critical analysis, observation, questionnaires, pedagogical research is characterized. The organization of the courses "Translation Practice Part 1" and "Translation Practice Part 2" on the electronic educational platform MOODLE of the university domain is described; it is stated that the platform makes it possible to use educational content in the conditions of face-to-face, distance and mixed learning. A sample of tests for checking the level of formation of translation competences of future linguists-translators is provided. A comparison of the results of education seekers in the conditions of present (2019-2020 year) and prevailing online education (2021-2022 year) is given. It was concluded that the courses "Translation Practice Part 1" developed on the MOODLE e-education platform; Part 2" concluded in accordance with methodical requirements; the platform makes it possible to master the translation course according to individual capabilities, to evaluate the knowledge of students and to observe the dynamics of mastering translation skills within a specific topic and the entire course. The obtained results give grounds for asserting that the MOODLE educational platform is an effective means of organizing training, in particular foreign language disciplines and translation cycle courses; the platform contributes to the formation of innovative competencies of both sides of the educational process (student/teacher).
