Abstract

The proposed article is devoted to the problem of sacred in linguistics, in particular the concept of SAINT, which is the moving force of cultural and spiritual development of an individual. The research is carried out based on the  materials of Ukrainian Old Ukrainian, and Russian languages lexicographic sources.
