ACTUALIZATION ON CLOTHERS AND SHOES NAMES IN THE MODERN UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract

The phenomenon of lexical actualization in modern Ukrainian language on the clothes and shoes names materials is examined in this article. The analyzed material allowed us to distinguish two groups in actualized vocabulary: 1) words which denotative component did not change significantly during actualization; 2) lexemes which had changes in the value (substitution (replacement) of one component to another) in the actualization process. The clothes and shoes nomenov actualization on the one hand is related to the increased attention to vocabulary which is a method of national identity and originality on the other hand – a tendency to language efforts economy.
