Abstract

The article is devoted to the explanation of marked concepts problems, which are the main basis for the enrichment of modern English vocabulary, and, directly, in the linguistic picture of the world. As example, in the article is studied gender-marked concept “CONTEMPORARY WOMAN” and its components.
