Abstract

The article is devoted to one of the topical problems in modern psychological science – psychological peculiarities of future teachers victim behavior. The paper presents the summarized results of scientific literature theoretical analysis: the concept of «victim» as a scientific category, its features, the issues of interaction between the aggressor and the victim, types of victims depending on the reaction to violence, the consequences of violence. During the research, theoretical and empirical research methods were used, as well as quantitative and qualitative data processing methods. There were empirically investigated the characteristics that are associated with predisposition to victim behavior, the main of which – anxiety, self-esteem, and social isolation. The necessity of psychoprophylaxis measures to prevent and eliminate the victim behavior of future teachers is emphasized.
